The Carleton University Human Rights Society will be holding its annual elections to select the 2026–2027 Executive Committee.
These elections are an opportunity for the CUHRS community to participate in the democratic governance of the society and help shape its direction for the coming year.
The Carleton University Human Rights Society (CUHRS) is a student led organization dedicated to protecting, upholding, and advancing human rights through education, advocacy, and action. Our goal is to create an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity and are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We strive to create a student-driven space for dialogue, collaboration, and activism around human rights-related issues. By engaging in collective advocacy and utilizing our diverse talents, we are committed to creating a more equitable and just society.
there may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.
